Brian Ewing

Brian Ewing is a multi-instrumentalist and veteran of the Cincinnati music scene who began playing over 25 years ago in high school bands before moving on to a stint as a solo singer songwriter.

It was in those days that Brian meet fellow singer songwriter Mark Messerly and formed Messerly and Ewing. This hard to classify duo has been nominated for several local music awards in many categories including Folk, Americana and Rock. The have been nominated as Band of the Year and for Album of the Year and have won both a CEA and Cammy award as Songwriters of the Year. M&E were also named 97Xposure Band of the Year and won the NARAS Ohio Songwriters Challenge. M&E are currently working with a new rhythm section (Midpoint Music Fest founders Sean Rhiney and Bill Donabedian) on a new album and playing around town.
